Southwest Fox 2009 Schedule Now Available

The schedule for Southwest Fox 2009 is now available on the main web site. Southwest Fox is the biggest North American gathering of FoxPro developers.

This year, sessions don't just cover FoxPro development techniques but also how to use other development tools with Visual FoxPro, including different source control systems (Vault and Subversion) and more. Check out episode 62 of the FoxShow for more details and an interview with Doug, Tamar and Rick, the organizers of Southwest Fox.

Drew Speedie Tragedy

On Friday, September 16, 2005, Drew Speedie and his son, Brent, fell a few hundred feet to their deaths from a bridge in Yellowstone Park. The Speedie family was on vacation there. Details of this tragedy are extremely limited at this time.

Visual FoxPro: Microsoft Visual FoxPro Roadmap

Sedna - while other MS code names are all about warm places in the Pacific, the Fox Team has chosen Sedna - just as if the sun was Microsft, VFP is the most distant body known that orbits it. Smaller than Pluto, but as noted, " not even officially a planet " - it still orbits, much like VFP still orbits the MS universe.
